This is a darling and special hanky/lingerie/stocking bag circa World War Two era of the 1930s and 1940s. Intended as a gift for an Army Wife. It's more of a folder really, as it folds over to protect the items inside and has one large pocket within. The exterior color is purple an in interior is pink with blue and pink lettering and graphics. The inside is lined in a yellow satin. What makes this is the sweet poem on the inside top flap. Folded it measures 11" wide x 7.5" tall ( so 15" when open).
Excellent vintage condition. The only thing to note is some minor foxing and watermarks, and a bit of what looks like color bleed from something else.
